Artist's Biography

Hailing from Angeles City, Philippines, Funkeestas are a boundary-pushing collective fusing funk, rock, alternative, jazz, and blues into a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is powerful. Their name reflects their playful yet mystical approach to music - each song a portal into a larger universe that ties together stories, symbols, and emotions.

The band’s latest release, “Unveil” (out September 26, 2025), captures their mission of confronting hidden and destructive forces that derail our lives. Lyrically and musically, it continues an ongoing trilogy that began with Funkery of the Warlocks (the preparation) and Gremlins of Funk (the declaration). Unveil marks the attack mthe moment of truth where sticking to one’s inner light defeats the darkness.

What makes Funkeestas unique is their creative process.
