Artist's Biography

INFINITE SONIC formerly known as Sonic, formed in January of 2017. Since then, it has been a widely recognized band in the Bogotá rock scene, lauded for its diverse membership, stage presence, and song composition. It was one of a select group of local bands to participate in the 2017 Hard Rock Rising competition, and advanced to the finals of the prestigious Monsters of Rock competition hosted by Subterranica in both 2018 and 2019, after having made it to the semi-finals the previous year. The band was also selected to participate in the 2018 Bogotá Music Market business conference as a national act.

The Infinite Sonic sound has evolved, trying always to represent a comprehensive panorama of alternative rock music, incorporating retro sounds of the rock eras of the 70s, 80s, and 90s with the modern sounds of today. On any Infinite Sonic disc or show, you will likely hear hard-driving songs, alt-indie type tunes, and some keyboard soaked alt-pop numbers. Another Infinite Sonic trademark are big, enveloping background vocals. You'll be tempted to say Infinite Sonic sounds like someone, but never quite be able to put your finger on exactly who.

In October of 2018, the band released its debut album One Peaceful Day (Spotify; YouTube Music). All songs on the album One Peaceful Day were written by Thomas Fay, produced by Luis Ernesto Walteros and SilverFox, and recorded at Estudio LeFlat in Bogotá, Colombia. The album was mastered by Grammy nominated engineer Carlos Silva at C1 Mastering. The band also has received invaluable consultation from two-time Grammy nominated artist/producer Carlos Villalobos of Alistar Records.

The band set it sights on an ambitious 2019. It recorded a cover of the 1980's pop-rock classic "Life In A Northern Town" and a new alt-pop original "Summer Magic" , both produced by Pedro Rovetto of the Colombian rock band Superlitio at Arbol Naranja Studios in Bogota. They then released a 6-song EP called Alpha (Spotify; YouTube Music) in October, produced by Sebastian Paz at Symmetry Records.

In April 2020, the band released an EP called Omega (Spotify; YouTube Music), the companion to Alpha . The band released videos for the singles "Disappear" and the title track "Omega". The song "Simply Amazing" got extended airplay on the college radio station WLFC in Ohio (check out our interview here), and was selected as the "Indie Song of The Day" on Alternative Addicition. In August, the band released a video for the new song "Astronauts", which was also made available on Spotify, Apple, and all other major digital platforms. In October, the band released a video, recording a cover of the 80's new wave classic "The Ghost In You" by the Psychedelic Furs.

In January 2021, the band released the single "Last Hero Home" (check out the video). In 2022, the band released the ambitious Loose Ends double album. Volume One was released in February, and then released Volume Two in May.
