Album: Life After The Blues
Monique
started her musical career under the direction of the late Collette Black
who was well respected in NYC's Cabaret community. She studied vocals under
the guidance of Eadie Scott, Luca Chesney, Elizabeth Russo and Craig Derry.
While she continued to grace the stages of Don’t Tell Mama, 53 Below and
Laurie Beechman Theater, she joined a Country/Blues band as a backup singer
which opened a new and exciting world for her to explore. She now invests
her energies into bringing the musical community a “flavor" of her own. Her
current single “In And Our of Love” from the Life After The Blues EP is
nominated for an LDM 2020 Blues/Jazz Award and is also featured on Bongo Boy
Records Volume XVI CD. Monique’s music can be described as a fusion of
Blues, Americana & Jazz. Her songs are played and hit the top charts on
indie stations internationally and available for purchase worldwide.
