Rick Lally

At a very young age I enjoyed the music of Elvis Presley so much, that on my 10th birthday, my aunt bought me a used guitar that she found at a garage sale. She refinished it for me and taught me some songs and chords. I wrote my first song at age 13 called 'Falcon Hill'.
While I'm opening other presents, my bud Randy is holding on to my first guitar!
'Falcon Hill' is finally recorded after so many years and will be on an upcoming release solo album 'It's High Time'. Hard to believe it took so long ago to get a decent recording. For that reason alone I wrote a song titled 'It's High Time'. 'It's High Time' is a fairly recent song that I wrote about song writing. I wrote it to motivate myself to get the music that I haven't recorded done.
I'm the first to admit there are some early songs that I wrote that will never and should never make it to a recording. Over the years I've improved in my song writing skills and musicianship. Thank goodness for that! That said I have a lot of work ahead of me.
To date I actually have three album releases. My first one entitled 'Home Works' I try to forget and don't usually include when I discuss my albums. Several of the songs were good but it was produced on a four track tape machine. I really had no clue how to bring a song to life via a recording. Being an indie artist often means you are also an indie producer. My skills as a producer continue to improve with each of my endeavors. In 2009 I released 'Acoustic Dreams'. It had 8 songs and the production quality was a vast improvement over my first release. The song 'Go With The Flow' has been a stand out song for that album.
In 2012 I produced my six song EP entitled 'Down In Jamaica'. I learned a ton through that process and it was another step forward. The two songs with the most play time from the 'Down In Jamaica' album are the title track 'Down In Jamaica' and the song 'She's My Sunny Day'. My personal favorite is 'Now's The Time For Love'. I wrote it not as a love song, but a song directed to the human race! I used some of my artwork in designing the 'Down In Jamaica' CD cover.
Album: It's High Time (2018)
I am very happy to announce that I have released a new 12 song album titled ‘It’s High Time’.
I named the album after a song I wrote in 2014, which is also the title track.
Another reason I titled the album as such is because, in a way, I’ve been working on this project since I was 13 years old.
The album includes the first song I ever wrote at age 13 titled ‘Falcon Hill’. I also noticed that this album includes songs that I wrote at various times in my life. I don’t necessarily know exactly what years I wrote each of them because the first time I applied for copyrights to any of my songs was in 1989.
This album includes songs with copyright dates from 1989 through 2017. As you can see it’s high time for me to finish this album. I honestly couldn’t tell you the amount of hours that I have put into this project except that in essence it’s a lifetime of work!

Angie Aparo

Angie Aparo is back after a stroke almost two years ago with Life Is A Flower, Life Is A Gun. This album was started and completed before and after the stroke hit. Master songwriter of many songs, like CRY (Faith Hill), FREE MAN (Tim McGraw) and co-writes with Big & Rich plus others, Aparo is one of a kind. His album, The American back in 2000 was supported by Clive Davis and producer Matt Serletic (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul) and became an indie-rock-radio hit.
Since then, he has done many self-released albums, that he sells at shows.
Between his voice, his use of music and delivery Angie Aparo, is and always will be, one step ahead of us.
Sylvia Plath – is about depression, a “parasite” inside all of us.
Bicycle Kings – is about his childhood friend and him being buddies and riding bikes…
