Black Market Aftermath - "Sharp Thin Blade"
Rock band Black Market Aftermath sprouted from the mind of Francesco D’Andrea, Film and TV Composer (his works featured in such shows as ”House”, “Mad Men”, “How I Met Your Mother”, “Glee”) and his collaboration with Walter Marini, singersongwriter, and ex roadie.
The rock album “Come Naked” is the band’s debut work, recorded in 2015. Their sound has been often described as a blend of 90s Grunge, Led Zeppelin and Black Keys.
Music Press said:
"Come Naked might be to most unique and authentic rock album we have heard all year" [Ear to The Ground Mag]
"'Sharp Thin Blade' is a solid song with great instrumentals and infectious vocals. Reminded me a bit of a more indie rock version of Wolfmother." [Bob Lugowe, worked with world acts like Baroness, Mastodon, Red Fang]
"BMA is a band with great talent and varied sound, and with no doubt has the chops to make you want to jump up and down in the puddle." [EastPortland Mag]
"Black Market Aftermath is one of the most ambitious and eclectic musical projects that has surfaced in the past year." [Brave Worlds Music]
“Their songs drips with raw emotion. “Sharp Thin Blade” is a garage rocker that wouldn’t be out of place on a Jack White record. ‘Come Naked’ is very good – and occasionally it’s better than that.” [MaximumVolumeMusic.com]
