Amanda Taylor - "Heartache"
Amanda Taylor is a 15 year singer songwriter from Keller, TX who's voice as been described as passionate, emotional and soulful. Amanda started singing at the age of 3 and started "playing" a pink Barbie acoustic guitar at the age of 4 (check out the YouTube video on her channel).
When she was 9 years old Amanda started taking vocal & piano lessons and joined a cover band. She performed on stages at House of Blues, Bronson Rock, Club Dada, Boiler Room, 3 Links, La Grange and Haileys. At 12, Amanda decided to go out on her own and start her solo career, writing/composing her own songs.
Last November, Amanda was contacted by The Voice Casting for a private audition, she surpassed open call and went directly to callbacks. The experience itself was an honor and a privilege. She has also auditioned for America's Got Talent.
Amanda has 2 originals recorded and released on CD's, both are available on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora and iHeart Radio.
Amanda plays keyboard, guitar and a little Ukulele. One of her greatest reviews was by Chris Holt (lead guitarist for Don Henley(The Eagles):
"The first time I heard Amanda Taylor sing it stopped me dead in my tracks. I wasn't expecting in that busy moment to be stunned the way I was. Pure emotion and soul, from the first note. I immediately knew that she was the real deal."
She has just been nominated for TX Solo Artist Award. Competition is in July.
