BLACK WATER COMPLEX is a dark, high‑voltage fusion of metal, grunge, rock ’n’ roll, and goth, blending decades of heavy‑music DNA into a sound that feels both classic and razor‑modern. The project began in 2019 as a studio creation of producer and multi‑band veteran Schrödey, whose background includes work with Temple of the Absurd, Warpath, Holy Moses, Joachim Witt, Torfrock, Blitzkrieg, Gorilla Monsoon, Hardbone, and more.

From the start, the band drew on a deep well of experience: its members have roots in influential acts such as HOLY MOSES, TEMPLE OF THE ABSURD, LACRIMOSA, HARDBONE, and WARPATH, giving BWC a lineup forged in the heavier corners of Europe’s underground.

Their early releases quickly set the tone — sharp production, thick riffs, and a brooding melodic edge — featuring guest appearances by Sabina Classen (HOLY MOSES) and Tim Dammann (HARDBONE). Tracks like “Evil Twin” showcase their signature blend: gritty, hook‑driven, and atmospheric, with echoes of Alice in Chains woven into their darker metal foundation.

Today, BLACK WATER COMPLEX continues to expand their sonic world with a steady stream of singles and videos, each one reinforcing their identity as a band unafraid to merge genres, moods, and eras into something unmistakably their own.
