radio darlings Franklin Gotham are back with their ninth EP, "Good Times Bad
Times," a five-track exploration of love, loss, and the bittersweet beauty
of young adulthood. Dropping on December 12, the EP promises a potent blend
of their signature alt-indie and folk-rock sound, guaranteed to soundtrack
your next late-night study session or epic road trip adventure.
"Good Times Bad Times" dives headfirst into the emotional rollercoaster of
being young. The lead single, "Caroline," is an instant indie-pop classic,
weaving haunting melodies and raw emotion into a heartbreaking anthem about
lost connections and the lingering echoes of past love.
But it's not all tearjerkers! They breathe new life into the 80s classic
"Life In A Northern Town" by The Dream Academy. Franklin Gotham's heartfelt
rendition blends their signature sound with full instrumentation and
flawless vocal harmonies, proving that great music transcends time.
The rest of the EP promises a diverse listening experience - from the
introspective "Like A Guitar" and the raw vulnerability of "Needles Won't
Sew" to the genre-bending collaboration with DJ Remedy on "Star Words."
With eight previous EPs under their belt – including fan favorites like
"Something You Remember" (2015) and "Lucky Enough" (2022) – Franklin Gotham
is a band on a constant creative journey. "Good Times Bad Times" is their

Pop-infused
Alt-Indie Rock three-piece Franklin Gotham releases their latest single ‘Too
Late For Goodbye’. For fans of The Replacements, Marshall Crenshaw and
Wheatus, their latest single is a reimagination of Julian Lennon’s 1984 hit
‘Too Late for Goodbye’.
The track captures the essence of the original track while adding Franklin
Gotham’s unique spin. Weaving upbeat Pop elements with 80’s inspired synths
to create a perfect balance of nostalgic 80’s flare with present-day
sensibilities leading to what you always want from a good cover, familiarity
delivered from a different perspective.
Hailing from Alexandria, Virginia, Franklin Gotham is composed of two
members from another local band ‘Icewagon Flu’ and one instrumentalist
extraordinaire from Virginia Coalition. Having released music since 2013 the
three-piece have become known for their Alt-Indie Folk Rock sound featuring
the emotional intensity of Tom Waits and the sunny vulnerability of Nada
Surf. Now back with their latest single Too Late For Goodbye, Franklin
Gotham looks to continue delivering their brand of Indie-Rock to audiences
worldwide.
