This album is about the vices that rip us apart. It tracks the trajectory of
a relationship from a bad beginning and follows the self-destructive
trajectory of its protagonist as the wrestle with the consequences of their
actions.

IIzmeiah
(Iz-may-uh) Brown lives in Huntsville Alabama and has been making music for
nearly a decade. Izmeiah enjoys a variety of musical styles and works in
this and various other artistic mediums.
About the Album
I was supposed to make a dance album last year, but that project was put on
hold following the death of my father. I decided to come back to it with
fresh eyes and rewrite the album from scratch. This candy coated album is
meant to get you up and dancing.

American Mythology, released in 2022, is about the inconsistencies of
memory. Specifically relating to the stories he heard growing up from
friends and family. He wanted to create a story-based album where the world
felt familiar to the listener. Choosing to use a mostly string-based
ensemble in this album, he blended both past and present to create something
unique.

This album is about, for me, having some fun. After releasing "That Great
Frozen Elsewhere" I realized it had emotionally devastated me and I wanted
to do something a bit more upbeat while still talking about love, loss, and
all manner of afflictions of the human condition.
