Artist's Biography

James C McKenzie (JCM) hails from Aberdeen and he has played in many local bands over the years, and during the covid lockdown he started recording his music at home. He started off doing guitar driven instrumentals, but was soon asked by other musicians to add some tasty guitar to their songs. Due to the advancement of technology, artists would send their songs to James who would add his guitar skills to their music projects and send it back to them. He calls himself JCM (his initials) and is quite prolific in writing/playing/recording his own music.

He has gained a good reputation as a reliable and competent guitarist and now creates/plays his own backing tracks to support his songs.
There are quite a number of vocalists local and from other countries who use JCM to create backing tracks for them and some of them also sing some of his songs.
