Australian artist Katy Tunbridge unveiled an exhilarating album titled Skin Deep on October 11, 2024 via her imprint Katy Tunbridge Music. A testimony to how Australia’s thriving indie music scene is soaring across global thresholds, Katy recently landed a nomination for the prestigious Hollywood Independent Music Awards in the Alternative Category for her potent song ‘Lying Through Your Teeth’, taken from the Skin Deep LP. She will be performing Skin Deep’s focus track ‘Superhero’ live for the World Entertainment Awards ceremony in Beverly Hills on January 31st, 2025 - the track is up for the Best Pop Song award, and Katy is nominated in four other categories.

Katy Tunbridge is a highly accomplished singer-songwriter, musician and producer who boasts over 30 years of experience in the music, TV, and film industries. Katy has collaborated with an impressive roster of industry professionals, such as Bruce Watson (Foreigner), Peewee Hill (Sly Stone), and Grammynominated producer Billy Smiley (Johnny Cash, Clay Aiken). Notable highlights of her career include her recent nomination and collaborations with major labels like Warner Bros. Corp and Sony Orchard. Her music is recorded at world-class studios, including The Sound Kitchen Studios, The Castle Recording Studios and Peter Frampton’s Studio Phenix, and mixed by industry icons like Steven Williamson and Billy Whittington.

Hailing from Down Under and currently residing in Los Angeles, Katy Tunbridge has forged an exciting path through the international music scene. Her family’s rich musical heritage notably includes a skiffle-playing cousin who once opened for The Beatles and played John Lennon’s guitar. Her journey has taken her from Australia to iconic music hubs like New York and Nashville. Collaborating with legendary artists and industry giants, she writes, records, and produces original tracks that blend pop rock, alt pop, alt R&B, and lounge moods.
