Professional bass player, graduated in music theory during the Nineties. I was a lead sound designer working with Xbox and PlayStation platforms. I’m a master engineer and an Apple Certified Logic Pro X professional.
I work in the box, using Logic with Focusrite devices and speakers by Focal and Yamaha. I play a Warwick Thumb bass, a Fender Jazz fretless bass, and a Stratocaster guitar.
As a studio engineer, I can record, arrange, mix and master audio.
I graduated as a bass player and music theory in the early Nineties.
Later, I gained a degree as a master engineer at Berklee and obtained the official Apple Pro Certification for Logic Pro X.
I’ve been working as a bassist with singer-songwriters, bands and producers, both in native Italy and my adopted country, the UK.
I read and write music. Therefore I can play either pre-written parts or create and edit one based on a brief.
I play with either my fingers or a pick, adapting both style and sound to the requirements. I fulfill the need for a solid bass section.
My specialities are in the pop, rock, singer-songwriter, funky, blues and folk genres. I own and play a 1991 Warwick Thumb Bass and a Fender Jazz fretless.
I spent most of the Naughties as a lead sound designer and composer, publishing for the PlayStation platform.
As a leader of the in-house audio team, I also attended the Game Developer Conference in San Jose, where I became a bronze member of the Game Audio Network Guild.
