Artist's Biography

Since their formation in 2010, Kidderminsters Nightblade has steadily garnered a growing fanbase with their captivating alternative rock sound. Their debut album, "Servant to Your Lair," received critical acclaim, leading to extensive touring and strong support from Metal Hammer magazine. Following this success, they released "Closer to The Threshold" in 2013, which gained attention in the Japanese market through endorsements from Burn, the country's largest rock magazine, and Powerplay.

In the years 2014 and 2015, the band focused on live performances, sharing stages with renowned acts like Snakecharmer, Wolfsbane, and Diamond Head. They also released the well-received EP "Crisis Has No Prejudice." In 2016, Nightblade briefly went on hiatus but made a triumphant return in 2020 with "Ignorance Is Bliss." The album garnered praise and coverage from Kerrang! Radio, HRH Magazine, Metal Temple, ERB Magazine, Ramzine, and Moshville Times, all hailed it as a remarkable comeback for the band.

Their discography includes "Servant To Your Lair" (2011), "Closer To The Threshold," and the EP "Crisis Has No Prejudice" in 2015. Known for consistently delivering dynamic and aggressive rock music, Nightblade has attracted a dedicated global fanbase, especially in Germany, Japan, Scandinavia, and Europe.

In 2020, they released "Ignorance Is Bliss," showcasing a shift toward an alternative rock sound characterised by powerful melodies, anthemic choruses, and instantly infectious hooks. 2023 sees a new line up for the band and a brand new album coming in December.
