Artist's Biography
OVERHAUL
are a rock, grunge, alternative rock band originally formed in 1997 in
Scotland by American singer-songwriter Andy Gallagher. Influenced by bands
such as Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Hüsker Dü, Cheap Trick, Soul Asylum,
Aerosmith, Dinosaur Jr., Nirvana, and Bob Mould / Sugar, they’ve crafted
their own unique wall of sound built from driving rhythms, razor-sharp
guitar hooks, and fist-raising cries.
Following their 2021 album Revisited, the band returns with their new album
Time Flies By, released on 7th November 2025 via TLG Rock / Virgin Music. It
features special guest performances from Dan Murphy (Soul Asylum / Golden
Smog / The Scarlet Goodbye), Astrid Young (Neil Young), Jeff Worley
(Jackyl), and Trace Foster (Close Enemies / guitar tech for The Rolling
Stones, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Cheap Trick, Geezer Butler). The album is preceded
by the lead single My Brighter Day, a song inspired by a Parisian hotel
view, which drops on 30th October.
Rocking the music scene for over 25 years, extensive touring has brought
OVERHAUL to venues and festivals throughout the UK and Europe. They have
several album releases under their belt and have featured guest appearances
from Gordon Gano and Victor De Lorenzo (Violent Femmes), Mike Watt
(Minutemen / Iggy Pop & The Stooges / J Mascis & The Fog), Astrid Young
(Neil Young), Billy Ryan and Brendan Ryan (The Bogmen), and Mike Hoffmann
(EIEIO / Semi-Twang).
OVERHAUL will embark on a UK and Ireland tour in March 2026, sharing the
bill with their U.S. friends The
Scarlet Goodbye (featuring Dan Murphy of Soul Asylum). Both bands will also
head to the Philippines in
late October 2026 for an international run. But for now, Overhaul can bask
in the glory of Time Flies By…
