Artist's Biography

Jon is the bassist for the UK's top Metallica tribute, Moretallica who decided to scratch his creative itch by writing his own songs only to find that, in his own words it: 'sounded like Metallica only not as good!' So he went back to the drawing board, drawing on influences like the first wave of classic post-punk - PiL, The Smiths etc and some classic bands like Manic Street Preachers and Weezer, welding these sounds to his very personal lyrics. The launch of his EP, EP1 earned him dedicated fans who added the songs to their playlists and even made lyric videos to the songs. Jon is currently playing live around Nottingham area and planning to go further afield this summer.
