Satin is a four-piece alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California that features Robert Cross on vocals/guitar, David Bucci on lead guitar, Scott Wintermute on bass and Tim Frantz on drums. .


About the Album

Satin's first full studio release in over two and a half years, Shockwaves features 14 original songs that were mostly written and recorded at Mountain Dog Musicworks in Oak View, CA during that time.

The album starts off with the morbid "Requiem" and ends with the Sci-Fi lullaby "White Horse". The songs "Country Girl" and "Citrus Road" were inspired by trips made to Arizona while the songs "Brutal" and "Only a Fool" were inspired by recent events going on in the current zeitgeist of the decade. Shockwaves also features the first writing contribution from guitarist David Bucci, who co-wrote "Morning Star".

About the Album Released on April 12, 2019, Drop Dead Gorgeous is alternative rock band Satin's debut album. Recorded in parts between southern California and Nevada, Drop Dead Gorgeous is a guitar driven affair that features 12 songs written by lead singer/guitarist Robert Cross. The album's sound is influenced by alternative and classic rock and includes elements of hard rock/heavy metal and prog rock.
