Artist's Biography

The Flood are a duo formed by Paul Q Dirksen and Pete Klimek in the late 1980’s Cape Town (South Africa).

After some local exposure on radio and tv they funded their debut album “First rain” with producer Murray Anderson at Milestone Music Studios.
By the 90’s they made their way to the Netherlands where the duo spent five years performing live and recording their second album as well as solo projects.

During this time, they were recognized for their original and cover performances. The Flood were featured on Dutch and South African television and performed professionally as a duo for over 20 years. Both artists remain active in the music industry in South Africa and aboard.
