Artist's Biography

I started this project in 2022 just before the end of Covid, tentatively I might add, as I've always co written songs and never ventured out on my own.

I kept it all pretty quiet from family, friends, and musical peers just in case I chickened out, but gradually I became more confiident in the songs I was writing.

Musically I concentrated mostly on 70's, 80's, and early 90's Aussie pub rock with a smatterting of modern country rock styles and influences emanating from Nashville (80's hair metal with a country and western vocal twang).

All up I've come up with 18 tracks (17 songs and one Instrumental), so in reality it's a double album.

I've written and composed all tracks, played all guitars, mixed, mastered, produced, and have had assistance from the following musicians who have helped to make this album a possibility, I'm deeply indebted to them and they are;

Criston "Plugz" Barker - Bass
Tony "A J" Fossey - Piano and Organ
Greg "Mumbo" Aldridge - Drums
Chris "Darkie" Wilson - Piano and Organ
Ringo Broadsword - Vocals

"Ringo " who? ... you say!

Well all the vocals are performed by AI and that is the name I have given it. So, now that in some peoples eyes I've probably destroyed any credibility that I may have had, I'll give the reasons why I've decided to go down that road.

1. The voices are fantastic, if I didn't mention it was AI you wouldn't know the difference.
2. They sing the songs exactly how I want them sung with no arguments.
3. They don't ask for payment.
4. They will sing in my studio immediately I need them, they are at my beck and call.


About the Album


As you may notice Proud Boys appears twice, different versions but the same lyrics.

I'd also like to thank Vince Donato at Laneway Music in Melbourne Australia for believing in me.
