With the
album: MAZE
Artist's Biography
Aurora
Falls: is an instrumental quartet from poznan. the band was formed in 2021
on the initiative of four musicians from different musical worlds. The
band's music is a mixture of post-rock, progressive rock and shoegaze,
creating a unique space, full of intense emotions and surprising soundscapes
covering a wide range of sounds - from melancholic melodies to energetic,
passionate songs
About the Album
MAZE tells about the complexity of our psyche, about the fact that in each
of us there is a labyrinth in which something we would not expect can be
found. This is best described by a quote by H. Murakami, which is the motto
of this album.
“Has the dark shadow really disappeared?
Or is it inside me, concealed, waiting for its chance to reappear?
Like a clever thief hidden inside a house, breathing quietly, waiting until
everyone’s asleep. I have looked deep inside myself, trying to detect
something that might be there. But just as our consciousness is a maze, so
too is our body. Everywhere you turn there’s darkness, and a blind spot.
Everywhere you find silent hints, everywhere a surprise is waiting for you.”

With the
album: Artificial Empathy
Artist's Biography
We
are Aurora Falls, a post-rock band from Poland. We are a mixture of musical
souls.
We gathered at the beginning of 2021 to play some music, and we stayed
longer. From the very beginning, we loved to seek space in our musical
improvisation, somewhere between shoegaze, post-rock, blackgaze, or
dreampop.
After a year of playing together, this concept finally took the shape that
we call Aurora Falls. At the end of 2022, we decided to record some of our
songs to share it with the world. That’s how it started.
About the Album
The idea behind the ‘Artificial Empathy’ album is the future of humanity.
Observing, how the world changes, how far man reaches and in the same time
the regression of humanity. How AI quietly spreads, pretending to be human.
We ask ourselves whether in the future, AI will be more human than the
human.
Is it possible, that AI will have more empathy than mankind?
The introduction to this album is the interview with Northrop Grumman Corp.
Designer Herb Lassen, speaking about Pioneer 10 spacecraft in 2001. He
explains how long the machine will exist in space, and how far it will
travel. It shows different perspectives, not of a few years, not a hundred
years, but millions of years. Will we still exist then?
That’s the story.
