Emerging from the streets of Akron, Ohio, Jozey & The Corruption embodies the essence of heavy, classic, hard rock with their unapologetic throwback sleazy sound and high-octane performances. Rooted in the legacy of rock icons like Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crue, Brides of Destruction, Black Label Society, KISS, L.A. Guns, Social Distortion, and more, the boys from A-Town deliver a relentless, gritty musical experience that electrifies audiences and leaves them gasping for air.

Jozey & The Corruption have rapidly carved a niche for themselves in the music scene. Their 2022 debut, “One,” was named Best EP of the Year by the website Rock N’ Roll and Other Sounds, a testament to their dedication and prowess in crafting music and lyrics that resonate with fans and critics alike.

The band’s latest release, the highly anticipated "Being No. 2 Sucks" (June 2024), delivers even more of their signature sound and features the anthem “I Am Rock,” which has become a fan favorite in the band’s live set.

Formed in 2018 in Akron, Ohio, Jozey & The Corruption is a high energy, dirty and sleazy three chord driven Punk and Rock band in the style of Brides of Destruction, Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Buckcherry, L. A. Guns, Beautiful Creatures, Kiss, Izzy Stradlin and Social Distortion.

Their aggressive, in your face form of rock and roll, coupled with their outlaw style and image created something new…and BOOM –

Outlaw Punk and Roll was born!


About the Album

Jozey & The Corruption entered the studio to work on their first release, the EP ONE, released on September 16th , 2022, which they recorded at Custom Audio Mutation Studios with Producer Curran Murphy.
