Artist's Biography

Kid Norkjen (Norvald Kjenstad) is a songwriter born in Trondheim, Norway, recording his tracks in Nashville. He was vocalist and songwriter in the Norwegian band “The Steps”.

From 2015 to 2024 Kid Norkjen recorded 5 solo albums “The Nashville Session”, “This is me”, “The Journey”, ”Into the vault” and “Time is now”.

He has released more than 20 solo singles.

All his tracks are written by himself, recorded in Nashville and the musicians are picked by the great producer Chip Hardy.

“We created “The Norkjen Sound”. (Inspired by the 60s ,70s and 80s style”) .
