Artist's Biography

Lunar Rage started as a dark rebirth of another band which guitarist Jon, bassist Nik and vocalist Lola were part of. After several months of working on cover songs, it became apparent that their appetite for impactful sound, originality and progressiveness needed a different outlet, and low and behold, Lunar Rage was forged on Friday 13th October 2023, of all dates. Shortly after, the planets aligned again and they were graced with the 4th and final band member, the drummer, Dan.

The band is based in the West Midlands in the UK with members scattered around the Birmingham and Coventry area, however their origins go a bit further than the UK - lead singer is of Polish ancestry, whilst bassist has Cypriot roots.

The band’s sound is a hybrid of members’ different styles, influences and visions. Nik’s punchy and punkfueled bassline along with Dan’s dynamic and striking percussive beats formulate a perfect base for Jon’s string wizardry and chunky riffs, whilst Lola’s dark and stirring vocals take you on a trip through the tranquility to rage in one verse. The vision is for the band’s name to be reflected in their sound – the conjuring and enchanting melody meets the heavy, raw and dark fury.

The band has just released their debut EP titled “Nursery Rhymes” which includes three original songs: Nursery Rhymes, Pass It By and Push Too Far and are actively promoting their release on streaming platforms, social media and live, supporting local venues, with the latest performance at international charity and fundraising event WOSP, in Birmingham.
