Artist's Biography

My name is Nathan Brown and I am the lead singer / guitarist of a band called Shadows of a Silhouette.

Our music is heavily influenced by our working class roots of Derbyshire, United Kingdom We are a 4 piece group and we would describe our sound as Indie Rock. We herald from Alfreton in Derbyshire, United kingdom and to date we have released over 20 songs most of which can be found on all the main music platforms such as Spotify, Itunes and Amazon etc.

Our musical influences are many and varied such as Arctic Monkeys, White Stripes, Kings of Leon and David Bowie.

The last 4 or 5 songs we have released have all been aired on Dean Jackson’s radio show BBC Introducing for the East Midlands.

In addition to this we have recently been supported by BBC Introducing and played on the Quarry stage at YNOT festival to an audience of around 2000 people. The whole experience was unbelievable and cemented in our minds that this is what we want to do.

We love to play live music venues and we are keen on reaching out to a wider audience.

We have been fortunate enough to play at live music venues locally such as The Blue Note in Derby, West Street Live in Sheffield and The Bodega in Nottingham, Rough Trade in Nottingham and upcoming at The Chameleon in Nottingham.

We have a loyal following, which is steadily growing
