Matt Sassano (M3) is an angst pop singer songwriter from Knoxville Tennessee.
Since forming his first band Transparent Soul, Matt has played clubs, bars, churches and youth events, his song Bridges placed as the main menu song on the Xbox and PlayStation 2012 NASCAR The Game: Inside Line, played 60 or so gigs, recorded his first EP, and spent a year writing for television and movie trailers. Now Matt’s taking on his own music project has released, with the partnership of Raven Faith Records, his first album Transcend, July 2, 2019.Matt’s songs incorporate a blend of hip hop, EDM, & pop music, and just when you get comfortable finishes in a cinematic style with big builds and a lot of twists and turns. Through his music, Matt loves to share the experiences of his life in which he has struggled with Cerebral Palsy and Discalcula. Each song is autobiographical but crafted in way that lets you identify with Matt. Since going solo Matt has played in clubs, festivals, and other special events and has even gained the interest of promoters and will open for hip hop icon Bubba Sparxxx.
